Bonus Photos

I have finally worked out how to photograph very small things, so I can post this picture of two of the beautiful stitchmarkers I bought from the very talented sprite64 on the Crafty Threads and Yarns Forum.

They are grazing on my Hedera sock for the February sock a month challenge (and I will continue to maintain that they are for February until midnight on the 28th), which you can see better in the second photo.

And finally, a photo to show that Ivy looks just as great with jeans as it does with a smart skirt. Did I mention that I'm really pleased with my Ivy? Alright, I'll shut up about it now...

I love Ivy, I want one now!!! Except I'm on a yarn diet till the woolfest and I don't have any suitable stuff to use, so it will have to wait!! I really like the stitch markers too. And lucky you going on such a lovely trip, am very envious. Only been to Oz, never NZ :)

Ivy is gorgeous. I love the cross-over style - I need to make one for myself. Good luck with your Feb sock - like you I still have hope that I may finish mine - only done 1 so far and I can feel an attack of second sock syndrome coming on - it has been a bit of an ordeal!

Congrats on Ivy, it looks lovely! I bought the yarn for it ages ago, definitely one I am aiming to make this year!

Oooh Ivy! Beautiful design, wonderful fit. Very classy. (Can you tell I'm impressed?)

And how do you take pictures of very small things? I haven't figured it out yet, and if you have any tips to pass along....

Thank you everyone, for your kind comments on Ivy. It is the first sweater I have made in the last ten years that I am really happy with, and I think the style and the design help a lot. I am definitely going to knit another one.
Jacquie, I should be knitting my sock now instead of loitering on the internet...still what are Sundays for?
And Cindy, on my camera, there is a button called macro, if you press it then you can focus on very small things from quite close. I found out about this by reading the manaul, which is not something I do unless all else fails LOL. So maybe your camera has such a button too?
